The Problem Everyone Knows

Your agency lives in Slack

Your team knows Slack. Your workflows are built around it. Your integrations depend on it. Switching is not an option.

Enterprise clients live in Teams

Large clients standardized on Microsoft 365. Their IT won't approve Slack. Their employees won't adopt a second chat app.

Communication becomes chaos

Screenshots forwarded via email. Context lost across tools. Messages delayed for hours. Nobody knows where the conversation is.

SlackBridge Connects Both Sides

How it works

  • Slack channel → Teams channel: Your message in #client-acme appears in their "Agency Updates" channel
  • Teams channel → Slack channel: Their reply appears back in your Slack channel instantly
  • No app switching: Each side stays on their preferred platform
  • Multi-tenant: Connect your one Slack workspace to multiple client Teams tenants
  • Real-time: Messages delivered in seconds. No polling delays like Zapier or Power Automate

Built For These Scenarios

Agency + Enterprise Client

Your creative agency stays on Slack. Your Fortune 500 client stays on Teams. Project updates flow seamlessly between both.

Consultants + Multiple Clients

Connect your single Slack workspace to each client's Teams tenant. One inbox, many client relationships.

Vendor + Customer Support

Your support team uses Slack internally. Customers message you in Teams. No one changes their workflow.

Tool Transition Period

Frequently Asked Questions

Can Slack and Teams chat with each other?

Yes. SlackBridge connects Slack channels to Microsoft Teams channels with two-way messaging. Messages sent in Slack appear in Teams, and replies from Teams appear back in Slack. Each side stays on their preferred platform.

Does SlackBridge support DMs or just channels?

SlackBridge currently bridges Slack channels to Teams channels. Direct messages (DMs) are not supported. Channel-based communication is the focus for team visibility and organized conversations.

Is messaging two-way or one-way?

Two-way bidirectional. Messages flow from Slack to Teams AND from Teams to Slack in real-time. Both sides can initiate and respond to conversations.

Does this work across different companies?

Yes. SlackBridge is designed for cross-company communication. Your agency can stay on Slack while each enterprise client stays on their own Microsoft Teams tenant. You can connect to multiple client Teams tenants from one Slack workspace.

Do my clients need to install anything?

Your client's Microsoft 365 administrator approves the connection through a consent link. With Full Integration that is all they do, because SlackBridge installs the bot for them. With Core Bridging their administrator also adds the SlackBridge bot to their Teams workspace once, using the instructions provided. End users install nothing and just message normally in Teams, where bridged messages arrive from the SlackBridge app.

How is this different from Slack Connect?

Slack Connect requires both parties to use Slack. SlackBridge works when your client uses Microsoft Teams and will not adopt another tool. They stay in Teams, you stay in Slack.

What about Zapier or Power Automate?

Zapier and Power Automate rely on polling rather than events. Microsoft documents a three-minute polling interval for the Teams "when a new channel message is added" trigger, and the interval varies by trigger and plan, so a message waits for the next poll before the flow even starts. SlackBridge is event-driven: the platform webhook starts delivery, with no polling interval in between.
